Thought For Today - Soundtracks

I could not even begin to sit down and construct a soundtrack to represent me. It would be a box set. It would also have to be divided into segments according to the passage of 5 year segments. This seems to be the time span of a generation in music. Let me try and song check the spans with one song:

Reinvention Of Self

I have lost count on how many times I have started and lost momentum on my blog. Still, deep inside, I have this need to witness and capture the thoughts outright because I value experience and opinion. For what it is worth, I yearn for dialog. I want to hear what you think about the music and ideas that drive your imagination and passion. I truly believe that music gets woven into the fabric of our everyday experiences.
The goal of my blogging experience has always been to drive the thoughts,memories and rationalizations I divine from life. For me, this is always inspired by what I observe through culture and music. It ignites a firestorm in my brain and I am blazed out with memories and observations. What makes this worthy to me is that I have earned my voice in the aging process. I have seen and experienced a lot. This type of conversation is lacking in the everyday. It is as if we are all so consumed with survival that we forget that a huge amount of battles have already been won and territory has been claimed.
I want the people of my generation to wake up and talk. It is okay to remember! We can't go back and relive but we can weave our tales and contribute to the folklore! I want to do this. I want to try and keep my words and wisdom flowing. I want you to do the same.
